Rezolution CompetitionsAPAC Special Enforcers Customization ContestClosing Date - Monday, October 20th 2008Welcome to the first ever, official Aberrant customizing contest. What makes this contest different from the rest? This contest is more than just another painting contest. We’re asking hobbyists to customize, personalize, and stylize any official Rezolution model into one of three new APAC Enforcers that are found in Data Dump 5 in our Downloads section of www.aberrantgames.com. The contest will run from 12:00pm E.S.T. on Monday, September 15th to 12:00pm E.S.T. on Monday, October 20th. At any point during that time, competition entries can be submitted to bryan@aberrantgames.com At the close of the contest, judging will commence. Judges will be Simon Mackenzie, Tony and Jane Kenealy, and Bryan Borgman. When the judging has been concluded, the winners will be announced on the Aberrant website and forum. Pictures of the winning models will be published in Data Dump 6 at the end of October The rules for this contest are:1. The model used must be an official Rezolution model as sold by Aberrant Games. Any official model is allowed – it does not have to be an APAC model. 2. You must customize and paint your chosen model with your interpretation of any of the three special APAC Enforcers found on page 17 of Data Dump #5 in our Downloads section on www.aberrantgames.com. 3. Photos should be sent to bryan@aberrantgames.com by 12:00pm E.S.T. on Monday, October 20th. Please ensure the subject line contains the following: APAC Painting Competition. 4. Photos must be no larger than 800 pixels wide (there are many free photo resizing programs out there) Aberrant staff will attempt to notify anyone whose pictures are unacceptable due to size or for any other reason, but notification is not guaranteed. 5. Aberrant Games reserves the right to use the submitted photos in other publications and promotional material, but in the event of this happening the original owner will be notified, if possible, and written credit will be given. 6. Submission of material to this competition confirms acceptance of these rules. Aberrant Games will provide the prizes for this. Each category of Enforcer will have a winner and a runner up award. Winner award per category: $25 prize package of your choice of models or books. I am looking forward to this first contest and hope that it lays the groundwork for many more to come as we gear up for another fantastic year of Rezolution miniatures releases and the launch of Warlands!
